About Us
Here at Leon's Cheese, we start and end with family.
Leon's Cheese was created under the name of our First Generation Cheesemaker, Leon Gustafson, who sadly passed in 2019.
Taking after his father's footsteps, Mark Gustafson became our Second Generation Cheesemaker in 1995. It wasn't long before his
credentials accumulated and he became the 45th and the Youngest Master Cheesemaker in the Country in 2010.
Mark has passed his love for cheese onto our Third Generation
Cheesemaker. His son, Bryce Gustafson, has been working in the cheese business for 2 years now and doesn't plan to stop anytime soon!



Our Father Son Duo started up our vats for Leon's Cheese in the summer of 2022 and have been working on perfecting the recipes behind our flavorful cheeses.
Since then, our team has grown to
include Mark's wife, Candy Gustafson,
and his son and daughter-in-law,
Tyler and Emily Freitag.
We are continuously crafting new
flavors and profiles to add to our high-end cheeses. If you have a suggestion
